Yvonne "Bonnie" Porter

Yvonne “Bonnie” Porter, 91, of Huson, was brought into the loving arms of her savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
She was born October 11, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of John G. and Edith Mae Wiggins. As a youth, she enjoyed tennis, ice skating and swimming. She married her high school sweetheart, Arthur J. Porter in Los Angeles in 1947. The couple has made Missoula their home for the past 22 years, coming from Colton, CA.
Her family includes her husband, Arthur Porter; children Janet Porter, Diane (Bob) Wikum, and Steve (Joyce) Porter; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two children, Ellen and Jeffrey and her brother, Jack.
Yvonne will be forever remembered as the sweetest most loving wife, mom and grandmother.
Viewing will be at John The Baptist Catholic Church in Frenchtown on Friday, October 21, from 11:45am-12:45pm. Funeral Mass will be at 1pm at the church. Burial will be at the Western Montana State Veteran Cemetery on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 1pm. The family would like to thank Partners Hospice for their wonderful care of mom and suggest memorials in her memory be made to that wonderful organization.
