William A. Holtzman, beloved husband of Dianne S. Holtzman became our Fighter Pilot Angel on September 4, 2021.
He was also the wonderful brother of James Holtzman and wife Elizabeth.
Bill was forever proud to be an Eagle scout.
Holtz answered his nation’s call by being an Air Force Fighter Pilot, serving in Vietnam and beyond. The Colonel Aimed High, flying the F4 and the F15, defending his country for over 26 years.
Bill was the ultimate warrior, leader, teacher, problem solver, sportsman, husband, brother and best friend! He was even blessed to expand his cowboy skills for a few years in Magnificent Montana. Bill spent over 20 years here enjoying his passion for horses, RVing, ATVing, boating, snowmobiling and marksmanship.
Folks will be telling Holtzman stories for years to come. May Bill’s journey allow him to share all of his flying escapades, red wine, single malt scotch and his beloved Green Bay Packers with his forever friends.
He will always be THE BEST THERE WAS!!!!!!!!!
There will be a public viewing at Garden City Funeral Home & Crematory on September 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., with short remembrance of life celebration and Military Honors at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
