Wilbur Hiram Stedman

Wilbur Hiram Stedman, 85, of Lolo Mt. Passed away at his home on January 15, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. Wilbur was born in Sentinel Butte, North Dakota on June 13, 1936 to Harrison and Lucille Stedman, where he also graduated high school in 1955. He married Gloria Hafemann on May 25, 1957 in Glendive, MT. Together they had six children; Lucille, Linda, Will (Wilbur), Eugene, Laura, and Lynette.

He was preceded in death by his father Harrison, mother Lucille, brother Wayne, sister Muriel, two infant brothers Jessie and George, son Will, granddaughter Heather, and son- in-law Mike.

Wilbur is survived by his wife Gloria, his children; Lucille (Marty) Cox of Forsyth, MT, Linda (Bob) Miars of Colstrip, MT, Gene (Tammy) Stedman of Arlee, MT, Laura Adame of Lolo, MT, and Lynette (Jeremy) Rainey of Centerville, WA.

He has 12 grandchildren; Michele, Tony, Kristen, Brian, Chad, Amanda, Brandon, Josh, Tyler, Te’a, Shiloh, and the late Heather. He also has 19 great-grandchildren.

Services for Wilbur will be on Saturday, January 29th at 2:00PM at Lolo Community Church. Graveside services will be held in Forsyth, at a later date.
