Weston Deane Wilson, 19 of Missoula, passed away on Wednesday, August 3 at St. Patrick’s Hospital of an undiagnosed congenital Brain AVM (arteriovenous malfunction) which caused a massive brain bleed that took his life.
Weston was born on March 11, 1997 in Austin, Texas to Jeff and Wendy Wilson. He was raised in Missoula. He attended Target Range Elementary School and Big Sky High School. He graduated in 2015. He was a member of the high school choir, was elected a member of the National Honor Society and was selected to be a part of the Montana Youth Leadership Forum in Helena for two years. He also participated in several local and state Special Olympic Games playing soccer, basketball and swimming.
Since graduation, he has worked at Walmart as a stockman/cart pusher. All of his coworkers and customers adored him. Weston was a friend to many and was known for his outgoing personality, wonderful smile and his ability to accept everyone for who they are without judgement. The loss of Weston leaves a hole in the hearts of the people who knew and loved him.
He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother, Nancy Wilson, and an uncle, Patrick Warwick.
He is survived by his dad and mom, Jeff and Wendy Wilson: brother Jaydn (Shayla) and son Aiden, Great Falls: and sister, Briella, Missoula: his grandparents Tom and Deanna Warwick, Missoula and Howard Wilson, Florence: uncles Dan (Laurie) Warwick, Helena and Gordon (Leah) Wilson, Mandan, North Dakota and 9 cousins.
Celebration of Weston’s life will be held at Christian Life Center at 3801 South Russell, on Tuesday, August 9 at 1:00 pm. There will be a reception following the celebration provided by the church and Weston’s Walmart.
