Verla Jean Dailey, 81, passed away of natural causes on Sun. Oct. 23rd at St. Patrick Hospital. Verla was born in Helena, MT on May 7, 1935 to Ella C. Bausch-Johnson and William C. Bausch. She was educated in Helena and graduated from Helena High School in 1953. She worked at Western Life Insurance Co. during high school and then went to work for the Veteran’s Administration at Ft. Harrison from 1953 to 1956. Verla married Stephen R. Dailey in 1956 at St. Helena Cathedral in Helena, MT. They later moved to St. Louis, MO where she worked for the V.A. there from 1956 to 1957.
Verla is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother William Bausch (Rose) of Helena, MT; her husband Stephen; her children Cathleen Frank (Dan), James Dailey (Linda), Colleen Cimino (Bill), Mark Dailey (Pam), Patrick Dailey (Ennea), Elaine Wilson (Michael) and 10 grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Sat. Oct. 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church with a reception following in the Parish Center.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Verla’s name to St. Anthony Catholic Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
