Vannessa Ann  (Anderson) Batt

On Saturday August 5th, 2017 this beautiful life and soul was tragically ended. Far too soon.

Nessa was born March 17th, 1984 in Missoula. She was the first of 3 children born to Mark and Johnna Batt. She grew up on the Northside, playing at the park, riding bikes and making lifelong friendships. She attended Lowell, Rattlesnake and Hellgate High school.

Later she met Dallas Anderson and from their love came 2 sons. Her greatest passion discovered, motherhood. She had found her calling! She poured her soul into being a mom and she was a wonderful mother. Cody arrived in August 2005 followed 5 yrs later by Ethan in November 2010.

Nessa, always a hard worker had many jobs throughout her teenage and young adult years. It was when she joined Roseburg Forest Products that she found her niche. She excelled at every challenge they gave her. She not only developed a career but a lifelong family.

Nessa was happiest when she was on everyday adventures with her boys. Everything from fishing, camping, hunting, curled up in bed watching movies, playing at the park to the backyard pool. She also enjoyed time spent with her friends floating the river, attending concerts, bowling and exploring the outdoors. Nessa loved her extended family and wouldn’t turn down an invite to a BBQ, dinner or just a visit. Cody and Ethan were her pride and joy. She was a devoted and loving mother, sister and daughter. Evidenced by the outpouring of love this past few days Nessa was a wonderful and compassionate friend. She was there to listen, offer an encouraging word to lift you up and to cheer you up with her infectious laugh (cackle) and warm smile. No words can begin to fill the void left in our hearts by your absence. We love you, miss you and will hold your memory in our hearts every day until we meet again.

Vannessa was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Florence Batt, Ron and Darlene Magnussen, Uncle Lewis Lipsy and cousin Christine Lipsy.

Nessa is survived by her sons Cody and Ethan Anderson, Mother Johnna Batt (Randy Anderson), Father Mark Batt (Tracy Parmer), Brothers Brian (Sara) and Michael Batt, Nephews Tegan, Grayson, Easton Batt; former husband, Dallas Anderson (Renee) of Seattle, WA; as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends and adoptive family.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday August 12th, 2017 at 3pm at Garden City Funeral Home, followed by a brief graveside ceremony at Missoula City Cemetery, followed by a potluck reception at Lowell Park. All are welcome. Condolences for the family may be left at www.gardencityfh.com
