Our beautiful son spent a remarkable 18 minutes on this earth. While here he taught countless people about the beauty of life, love, God and time well-spent.
He was born at 8:17 on a sunny morning, Aug. 3, 2015, and greeted his parents and a wonderful team of doctors and nurses with a quiet, easy demeanor. He lay on his momma's chest, looked into her face and squeezed his daddy's fingers and quietly went to sleep. Tyler weighed 3 pounds and 6.5 ounces; he was 12 inches long. Though his life was short, it was and is significant. This baby is loved and a part of a giant network of friends and family.
In addition to his mother and dad (Leanna and Travis), Tyler is deeply loved by his big sister, Walker, and brother, Cash. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Jane and Harold Walker, Bill and Christine Ingram and Dr. Jerry Privette. He is survived by great-grandparents, Linda Privette (Concord, North Carolina), Bob and Norma Ross (Ava, Missouri); grandparents, Vicki and David Walker (Lebanon Junction, Kentucky), Mark and Linda Ross (Marion, Virginia); and Cindy Privette (Max Meadows, Virginia). Tyler is also survived by aunts, Casey and Tara; uncles, Justin, Dallas and Marshall); cousins, Riley and Ayla, Ava, Maddex and Maylee; and many many close friends across the country.
A celebration of Tyler's life took place at Pineview Park on Aug. 9. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend 18 minutes doing something that makes someone else happy or our world better.
