Troy Thomas Hauerwas, 54, passed away June 18, 2015, in his home of cancer. He was born Oct. 31, 1960, in Lewiston, Idaho, to Glen and Delores Hauerwas.
Troy graduated from Hellgate High School in 1979. Over his lifetime he worked for the railroad as an engineer, he owned his own logging company and most recently Troy was a heavy equipment operator for a company in North Dakota.
He married Jody Ginn and had three children, Nathan, Desiree and Whitney. They later divorced and he married Helen Owsley Hauerwas and had two children, Morgan and Tristen. Troy's children were the center of his world. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren coaching baseball, fishing, rafting, and riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. Troy had an infectious laugh that will be missed by his friends and family.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents and two of his nephews, Michael and Robert Broderius. He is survived by his children, Nathan, Desiree, Whitney, Morgan and Tristen and five grandchildren, Jesse, Teagan, Trevor, Vanessa and Wyatt.
