Obituary for Tracie Flanigan

On the 25th of December 2015, Tracie unexpectedly passed away while at her home in Lolo, Montana. Tracie was born in Livingston, Montana, August 10, 1966 and was the second youngest child of Richard and Lucille Flanigan. She was baptized and later confirmed in faith at Saint Mary's Catholic Church. She was a 1984 graduate of Park High School.

During her younger years Tracie was a gifted athlete. She received several awards, MVP honors and a scholarship to MSU for girls' basketball. She continued in sports doing equally well playing softball for many years; making great plays and great friends.

Tracie would enter a room and immediately brighten up the mood and conversation. She loved to laugh and loved to kindly tease others to get them laughing. The biggest love for Tracie however was her children. Tracie was married and had a daughter and a son, Hailey (17) and Adam (8). She was very involved with her children in making sure they were cared for and had what they needed.

In addition to Tracie's two children, she is survived by: mother Lucille Flanigan of Portland, OR; her brothers; Mark of Everett, WA; Richard and Ed of Portland, OR; Keith of Bozeman, MT; and, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her sister, Mary Catherine, brother John and her father, Richard F. Flanigan, preceded Tracie in death.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 2nd at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Missoula, MT. Visit www.missoulafuneralhomes.com for condolences.
