Tonya Raelene Gilliam

Tonya Raelene Gilliam, 43, of Lolo was laid to rest on Monday, January 9, 2017. She was born April 19, 1973 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born into a military family, Tonya travelled to many beautiful places during her childhood. She settled in Montana as an adult and had a beautiful baby girl, Halisha, in November of 1990. She raised her daughter in Missoula with the support of her life-long best friend Bob Mueller. She was known for her untamed free spirit, bringing laughter and happiness that touched many lives. She loved the outdoors and the splendors of Montana. She also loved animals, especially cats. She is survived by her daughter Halisha Gilliam of Missoula, her mother Bobbie (Wade) Chaney of Burbank, Washington, her father Fred (Pat) Gilliam of Dothan, Alabama and her best friend Bob Mueller of Missoula. A private service will be held in honor of Tonya’s memory at a later date.
