Obituary for Timothy A. Olean

POTOMAC – Tim Olean, 43, of Potomac, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, from a heart attack at his home.

He was born on May 29, 1970, in Missoula to Ed and Judy Olean. He grew up in Potomac Valley and was educated at Potomac School where he was involved in many activities. He graduated from Hellgate High School in 1988. His love for the outdoors included camping, hunting and snowmobiling with friends and family.

On Aug. 26, 1995, he married Heather Allen of Missoula. They started their family in Potomac, raising two wonderful children, Kayley, 14, and T.J., 12. He was a loving father and husband. Tim spent his career in the building industry. His passion for building and dream of being self-employed came true when he and his best friend Bobby Cheff started their own business, Six Point Construction in 2005.

Survivors include his wife, Heather Olean; daughter, Kayley Olean; son, Trevor Olean; parents, Ed and Judy Olean; sister, Marg (Mike) Thurston; nieces, Tara, Tana and Tawsha; nephew, Chad Thurston; mother-in-law, Janice Allen; brother-in-law, Jerod Allen; nephews, Riley and Preston Allen; sister-in-law, Debbie (Randy) Dietz; nieces, Miranda, Ashlynn, Mckenzie Dietz; grandpa, Harold Houston; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Rob Olean; two grandmothers; and one grandfather.

In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation is welcome to do so. There will be a memorial account set up at First Interstate Bank.

The services will be held at Garden City Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. The address to Garden City Funeral Home is 1705 W. Broadway and its phone number is 543-4190. Memorial services are under the direction of Garden City Funeral Home & Crematory.

Bubba, we will miss you so much! The drives in the mountains and huckleberry picking will never be the same without you. You will be forever in our hearts, until we meet again. We love you!
