Obituary for Timothy Jay "Tim" Brambo

Tim Brambo passed away on Sunday, November 26th, surrounded by his close circle of family and friends.
Tim was born in 1964 to Harold “Red” and Ann, the youngest of three children. His parents owned L & R Tire, where Tim began working during his high school years. He continued working in the tire industry at Missoula Tire until he began a new career in 1997 at Westran, where he formed some of his closest and lifelong friendships. When he left Westran, he formed a partnership in Axent Green and continued to dedicate himself to the business until his passing.
Tim graduated from Big Sky High School in 1983, where he was a standout football player, having the honor of being the first player from the school to be invited to play in the highly-esteemed East/West Shrine game.
During his high school years, he met Linda Anderson. The high school sweethearts were married in May of 1987. They enjoyed 30 plus years together. In January of 1992, they welcomed their son Taylor - not only their greatest accomplishment, but the light of their lives. Taylor is a reflection of the best of his parents. In 2016, Taylor married Nikki Anderson and through this union gained a daughter.
Tim coached Little Grizzly Football for 20 plus years and then dedicated himself to coaching his son Taylor’s sports, which included football, basketball and AAU Basketball. Through these sports endeavors, Tim drew parents and kids together forming lifetime friendships between young and old. These bonds have remained lifelong.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his brother-in-law Reiner Gellrich, several aunts and uncles and his father-in-law Dale “Swede” Anderson.
He is survived by his wife Linda, son Taylor (Nikki), brother Russ (Mary), sister Shelley, nieces Abigail, McKenzie, Madison and Blakeley Brambo, mother-in-law Joyce Anderson, sister-in-law Brenda Thomas (Perry), nephew Trey and great nephew Blake. Tim also leaves behind countless friends.
Tim enjoyed family, friends, sports, traveling on cruises, playing cards and recently began skeet shooting. He also enjoyed reflective walks at Lake Mary Ronan with close friends, but more than anything he loved his Montana Grizzlies.
Tim touched the lives of many throughout the years and will be missed by so many, but forever remembered for his generous heart. He would do anything for anyone. He lived his life as a reflection of his beliefs.
In honor of Tim and a reflection of one of his greatest joys, the family requests you wear your favorite Griz attire to the celebration. Tim’s family requests that anyone wishing to make donations in honor of Tim can be made to Griz Kidz, an organization that donates tickets to disadvantaged kids allowing them to enjoy the experience, excitement and tradition of Montana Football, something near and dear to Tim. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 2332, Missoula, MT 59806 or online by going to Grizkidz.com.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 3:00 P.M at the Missoula Alliance Church located at 100 E. Foss Court.
