Thomas Steffes

Thomas Joseph Steffes died peacefully in his home in Missoula, MT on Saturday May 21st at the age of 68.

Tom is survived by his children Leoann Maggie Steffes Reichert (Rick Reichert) and Matthew Vincent Steffes (Tiffianny Steffes); and grandchildren Catherine Ann Reichert and Eleanor Rhae Steffes.

Tom was born in Miles City, MT to Bette Jean Russell Steffes and Leo Vincent Steffes on November 24, 1947. He graduated from Sentinel High School, in Missoula MT, and got a degree in journalism from the University of Montana. Tom served as a Corpsman on the USS Mercy in the US Navy and is a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Bette Jean Russell Steffes Norwood and Leo Vincent Steffes, and his brothers James Ray Steffes, Robert Leo Steffes, and Jeffrey John Steffes.

His current wife Margie Steffes has arranged graveside services for Wednesday May 26, 2016. A military service is being arranged for July in Missoula MT.
