Theola’s wish to rejoin her husband Leo came true on December 11, 2024.
She was born in Dickinson, North Dakota on June 1,1925 to Howard and Angie Tottingham.
As a child her family moved to Montana, first to Great Falls and later settled in Missoula. On December 22, 1945, Theola would marry the love of her life, Leo. The couple resided in Leo's hometown of Milltown. They lived there for many years, raising their three sons. They became Milltown’s oldest residents.
She is survived by her three sons; Larry (Mary Ann), Jerry (Margaret), and Duane (Lee Ann), Four grandchildren and Six great-grandchildren. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren meant everything to her. Her heart was also filled with her never-ending faith in God, something she carried with her every day.
She resided at Riverside Healthcare for the past two years. She passed away peacefully at St. Pats Hospital.
At her request, the family will hold a Celebration of her Life in the Spring. She did not want a funeral. There will be 99 years of stories to tell and memories to share.
A special thanks to Riverside Healthcare and St. Pats for the loving care given to her during her stay.
