Theda Jewell Coombes (Snowden)

Theda Jewell (Snowden) Coombes, 75 of Missoula, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at her home in Puyallup, WA from COPD complications. She was born on January 24, 1940, in St. Charles, Virginia to Carl Bascom Snowden and Edith Elizabeth (Harless) Snowden.
Theda enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and the outdoors. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by her husband Alvin Coombes, her children Roger W. (Krista) Coombes, Alvin C. (Becky) Coombes, Brenda K. (Robert) Rang, Virginia R. (Roger) Elliott, Theda/Angel (William) McDermott, John W. (Angela) Coombes. She is survived by many loving family members: brothers, Arthur Snowden, Robert Snowden, John Snowden; sisters, Bertie Adams, Virginia Skiles, JoAnn Snowden, Ruth Byrer, Becky Swango; and her many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Theda was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Daniel Snowden, Tilman Snowden, and Jack Snowden; sister Margaret Snowden; and grandson Ronald W. Dodge.
Viewing will be Monday, April 6, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:45 at Garden City Funeral Home, graveside service will be held Monday, April 6, at 11:00 am, at Missoula City Cemetery.
