MISSOULA – Terry L. Danelson passed away peacefully in his daughter's arms on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. He was 75 years old. He is loved greatly and missed terribly by the many friends and family left behind.
In the late '80s, Terry moved from Scobey to Missoula to be closer to his daughters, Debra Danelson Ricci and Cherie Danelson Marconi, and their children, Coleman Hamilton and Ryan and Chauna Marconi. His world revolved around his grandchildren and he derived great joy daily from swimming, gardening, telling stories and involving them in every aspect of his life.
In his later years his pride and joy was his beautiful granddaughter, Ally Ricci and his grandson, Andy Ricci. Terry suffered unbearable pain from recurring cancer and was cared for by Debra and her children. Their special relationship kept him going, and their shared bond of love helped him to continue to love life. He became especially close to Andy. Almost every day Terry would regale Andy with stories of his life; together they enjoyed rides in his Audi and fine dining and home-cooked meals. Terry passed along his love of the earth, children and animals to his loved ones. His kind, gentle ways will be with us in our hearts always.
Terry also preceded his son Joe Danelson of Bakersfield, Calif., in death.
