Teri Sue Lerch, 59, of Lolo, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 in her home.
She was born on December 3, 1955 in Missoula to Fred and Shirley Lerch. Teri grew up in Missoula, attended Sentinel High School, and was active in Job's Daughters, choir, and drill team. After graduating, she attended University of Montana and studied music.
Teri worked for various Missoula businesses during her life including Hi-Noon, Ponderosa Volkswagen, Mountain Lion, Missoula Pari-Mutuel, and, eventually, The University of Montana. She worked at UM for 25 years, starting in Human Resources and then moving on to be the Office Manager in the Psychology Department.
Music was a big part of Teri's life. She was a member of AM & FM singing group and sang at various events around Missoula. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking, reading, gardening, playing with her dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
She was a loving mother, sister, daughter and aunt. Teri had an amazing contagious laugh and had a way of lighting up any room she entered. She drew people to her with her happy personality and loving spirit.
She is preceded in death by her brother, John Lerch. Survivors include her daughter, Brandie Davis, parents, Fred and Shirley Lerch, sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Roy Brunner, niece and nephews, Todd Brunner, Kasey Garvey, Kevin Lerch, Scott Lerch and their families.
A memorial service will be held at 11am Monday, July 6 at Garden City Funeral Home followed by a reception in the funeral home's community room.
