Suzan G. Shulund, 61, passed away at home surrounded by her husband Doug, and sons Kyle and Matt on November 29, 2019. She fought a good fight against a second round of ovarian cancer. She was an amazing person whose smile and laugh would light up the room. She had a wicked sense of humor that could brighten anyone’s day. Suzan was so strong, even going through chemo again, she always had a smile on her face and would comfort others. She was an inspiration to so many people.
She loved riding the Harley with Doug, taking pictures while he drove. She loved giving and receiving the best hugs, bowling, bingo, gambling, Michelob Ultra, and Rod Stewart. She never met a stranger. She loved everyone she met.
She liked to do things her own way so instead of having a funeral after she died, she wanted to have a “Celebration of Life” before so she could be there. In true Suzan fashion, there was a celebration/fundraiser at the Eagle’s catered by Montana Jacks casino. Many thanks to them and everyone who donated money or items for the fundraiser, also The Cancer Center, Hospice, Garden City Funeral Home, and all of her awesome friends and sister Jolene.
The world is a little dimmer now but there is a big party wherever she is. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Stand Up To Cancer.
Suzan, you have your angel wings now. Ride your Harley into the sunset to the big casino in the sky where you will always be a winner.
Happy Birthday! We love and miss you!
