Susan Camille Waritz, 69, of Lolo, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, in her home, of natural causes.
She was born on Nov. 17, 1955 in Seoul, South Korea. She was adopted at the age of 5 by Allyn Bloom and Euna (Sannes) Bloom, of Spokane, Washington.
She graduated from Ferris High School in 1974. She graduated with her degree in Medical Records from Spokane Community College and worked at Sacred Heart Hospital and Valley Hospital in the Medical Records Department.
One of Susan's dreams was to live in Montana. Ln 2004, she got to live out her dream when she and Mitch Waritz bought their home and moved to Lolo. Then in 2005, the couple was married and continued to live their dreams in Lolo. She worked at Community Medical Center in Missoula, where she worked until she was able to retire and pursue even more of her dreams.
She had many passions in life. She was an avid crafter, especially enjoying crochet. She loved making gifts of all kinds for people. She loved her garden and grew both food and beautiful flowers. She loved to watch her hummingbirds. She was an amazing baker and cook and loved to share her food with others. She loved to experience new types of food and adventure.
One of her main passions was her love of the Lord and spreading His message. For the past few years, she had been working to achieve her Bachelors in Ministry and both her and Mitch became licensed Chaplains. She was an active member at several churches over the years, most recently the River of Life Church and participated in jail ministry. She was a part of, and led, various women's groups, which brought her so much joy. She was fortunate to be able to attend the Dream Center in Los Angeles, something she was very proud to say she was able to do.
She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, as well as caring for many who came into her life over the years. She leaves behind her husband, Mitch, Lolo; her son, John, Spokane Valley, WA; her daughter, Sarah and her family, Ferndale, WA; her daughter Rebecca and her family, Mesa, AZ; her beloved Corgi, Bailey Bo; her grandchildren, Audrianna, 15 , Jacorey, 12, and Lorelei, 8; and many friends.
A service will be held for Susan on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 4pm at the River of Life Church in Missoula, followed by a reception at her and Mitch's home in Lolo on June 21,2025. Her final resting place will be at the Montana Veterans Cemetery in Missoula.
She is very loved and will be extremely missed by everyone who knew her.
