Susan Owen

Susan Owen passed peacefully Saturday, March 28, 2015, surrounded by family and friends, after battling cancer for more than two years.

Susan was born in 1966 in Naperville, Illinois, and graduated from Hellgate High School. She married Scott Owen, whom she had loved since age 13, and survived an early bout of cancer at age 19. She spent her career as a medical transcriptionist and was also an accomplished quilter and teacher. She loved animals and spending time with friends and family on the water.

She is survived by Scott, her beloved husband of 26 years; her mother, Gale Bingeman of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania; her father, Jeff Govi of Philipsburg; her sister, Stacy Govi of Williamstown, Massachusetts; her mother-in-law, Judy Owen of Helena; her father-in-law, Zane Owen of Hamilton; and many friends and colleagues.

The family will conduct a private remembrance of Susan over the summer, her favorite season. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Susan's name to AniMeals.
