Obituary for Steven Dale Paul

— Steven Dale Paul, 66, of Missoula passed away of natural causes at his home on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

Steven Paul was born in Missoula on March 23, 1951, to Jack and Betty Paul. He attended Missoula public schools from Jefferson Grade School through Sentinel High School, graduating in 1969.

He was very proud to have been born, raised and lived his life in Montana. Steve enjoyed the great outdoors of Montana. Hunting was his passion as well as snowmobiling, horseback riding, rafting, boating, camping, shooting, along with simply taking a drive in the mountains. He had many talents that he used along his journey that included mechanic, welding, carpentry, navigation, with a flair for cooking as well. Steve also really enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends.

Steve began work at an early age for the Local Taste Freeze. He had a real gift for conversation that most likely lead him to his long career in sales. Beginning with Missoula’s Beverage Distributing, to Schwan’s Frozen Food Delivery, eventually retiring from Rangitsch Brother’s RV Sales.

Left to cherish his memory are Curbie, her sons Caleb and Colton Evans. His children Steven J. Paul of Yucaipa, California and Shauna Paul of Missoula, Montana. Sister, Sue Paul; brothers Brady and Chris (Tana) Paul all of Missoula. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, at the Eagles (2420 South Avenue West, Missoula, MT 59801) to remember and continue the celebration of Steve Paul.
