Stephen P. Adamski, 71, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at home of cancer.
He was born March 31, 1943, in Waterbury, Connecticut, to Chester and Mary Adamski.
On April 3, 1965, he married Judith L. Scherr. The couple lived in Colchester, Connecticut, until moving to Frenchtown in October 2002.
He was an assistant pastor at Christian Assembly Foursquare as well as having a jail ministry for the past five years. He volunteered at PNW Adult & Teen Challenge-Missoula Campus for the past 12 years.
He is survived by a loving wife (of almost 50 years), Judi; his daughter, Stephanie (Perry) Frank; his son, Daryl Adamski; three grandchildren, Courtney, Kailey and Dakota (predeceased by granddaughter Alyssa); and his dog, Frodo. He also leaves behind past and present students at PNW Adult & Teen Challenge-Missoula Campus along with many friends.
The funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Garden City Funeral Home, 1705 W. Broadway. Burial will be family only.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve's name to either PNW Adult and Teen Challenge-Missoula Campus or Hospice of Missoula.
