SHIRLEY "JANELLE" WOODALL RUPE MacLELLAN
Shirley, born September 2, 1934 in Plainview, Texas to Wagner and Sarah Linton Woodall, died June 4, 2014 at Riverside Health Care Facility in Missoula, Montana due to congestive heart failure.

She married Harold Rupe at age 16, in 1951. When they divorced after many years, she married Gilbert MacLellan in 1986.

Although born in Texas, she lived most of her life in New Mexico, mostly around the Thoreau and Gallup area. She worked various jobs from bookkeeping, clerical, receptionist, Uof NM Book Store, to owning a small car lot. We fondly teased her about being a car repo woman.

She and Gil decided to move to Montana. After Gil's death, she lived by herself until November 2013. She had to be placed into Riverside Health Care due to her health issues. It was hard on her to lose her independence. She accepted the need to be there and began making friends. She has been described as a jokester, feisty, compassionate, helper, friendly and stubborn. No matter how you knew her, she was loved by many.

She is survived by her son Gary (Cindy) of Alaska, daughter Karen (Dave) Victor, MT, son Ron MacLellan ( Beverly) of Albuquerque, son Allister MacLellan of Albuquerque, daughter Anna ( Mark) of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Lyn of Albuquerque, N.M., as well as multitudes of grandkids and great grandkids. She took great pride in her family as well as her longtime friendships she made. What a legacy she has left. She will be missed!

Her wishes were to be cremated without a funeral. There will be a Memorial Service for anyone interested on July 11, at 1:15pm, at
Riverside Health Care Facility, 1301 E. Broadway, Missoula, MT
