Sheila Mae (Erb) Guse passed away of cancer on Monday, March 27, 2017, at home in Missoula with her family by her side.
Sheila was born May 29, 1936 in Missoula to Willis and Anna Erb. She was from a military family. Sheila graduated high school in Anchorage, Alaska in 1954. In 1958 she married Leo Gustav Guse in 1958 to this union four children were born.
She was a full charge bookkeeper and has been involved with the Soroptimist North, she served as a Cub Scout leader and also a charter member and treasurer of the National Secretary Association.
She had a quick wit and a contagious sense of humor, with an incredible smile. She loved dancing, league bowling, garage sales, crafts, holidays, playing cards and she was the Queen of Gadgets.
Sheila is preceded in death by her husband Leo, brother Jack and her parents Willis and Anna.
Survivors include her four children; David of Alaska, Gary and Doug of Missoula and daughter Brenda of Vancouver, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, her brother Richard of Vancouver, sister Roberta of Colorado.
Please join us on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 3 p.m. as we celebrate and remember Sheila’s spirit and love of life, at a graveside service to be held at St. Mary’s Annex, 641 Turner Ave. in Missoula. A reception will follow at Missoula KOA Gathering House, 3450 Tina Ave. in Missoula. Sheila requested everyone to wear bright and cheery colors, no Yellow Please.
