Sheila Ann Click, 76, of Yuma, passed away on Wednesday, Dec 10, 2014, in the home of her son, Carle Scott Davis, in Missoula MT.
Born June 6, 1938, in Santa Barbara CA, to Kenneth Schofield and Mildred Nash, she was raised by her father, Kenneth Schofield.
July 4, 1953, she married Gary Davis and that union produced her only child, Carle Scott Davis. They were divorced, and she spent the next 18 years working as waitress to raise her son. In 1974, an old acquaintance reentered her life. She married Dwight Click in Oct of 1974. With Dwight, she found the life she was destined for.
Moving to the Sacramento area in the late 70's, she got an associate's degree in accounting from Consumes River College and for a short time worked as an accountant. She also volunteered for the Sacramento Sheriff's Department.
When Dwight decided it was time to retire, they sold their home in the Sacramento area, and became snowbirds, finally settling in the Yuma area. Both she and Dwight were very active in the Tuscany Mobile Home Park. Again, she was a volunteer for a short time at the Yuma Sheriff's Department.
They say dynamite comes in small packages; her small stature belied a fierce spirit and will that family and friends constantly looked up to. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a dear and close friend to many.
She is survived by her son Carle Scott (Betty) Davis of Missoula, MT, step-daughters Denise (Dave) Sisneroz and Darcie (Jim) Gore of Elk Grove, CA, and step-son Larry (Phyllis) Click. There are 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Montana at a future date.
