Sharon Grace Weller died Saturday evening, June 6, 2015 in her home in a peaceful passing into the Lord's hands.
Sharon Grace was known as a wife, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, and Teacher Sharon. Her husband, Clyde, would often call her "Sharon full of Grace" just to be funny, but it was an appropriate title. She reflected the love and patience of her Lord Jesus Christ. Her life was one of service to Christ, to her family, and to her community. She was the Godly matriarch of her immediate family and her secondary church family both at First Presbyterian Church of Missoula and at Bible Study Fellowship.
Sharon was born on February 13, 1944 in Omak, Washington to Stanley and Gladys Parriott. The family moved to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho where she attended public school. She earned a degree from North Idaho College and a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Idaho.
Sharon Married Clyde Weller on September 11, 1965 in Coeur d'Alene. Christopher Stephen was born in Sandpoint in 1972. Courtney Jerome was born in 1977 and Shannon Elizabeth was born in 1980, while the family was in Albuquerque. She was the best mom a child could ever hope to have.
Sharon's last 23 years were spent in Missoula, MT engrained in her church community selflessly serving in many capacities from deacon to two-year old Sunday School teacher to singing in the choir. The previous 48 years were spent likewise serving in a variety of church families and children's sporting organizations. Her stops included: Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Kingsville, Texas; Sandpoint, Idaho; Pleasant Hill, California; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Winchester, Kentucky and Montclair, Virginia. She left her indelible impression on each community. She leaves us wanting more but blessed to have traveled the same path for a time.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for Saturday June 13 at 11:00am at First Presbyterian Church, Missoula, MT.
