Sharon A. Kornish

Sharon Ann Kornish, RN, was born Jan. 16, 1936, in Bay City, Michigan. She passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2015.

Sharon was a retired registered nurse and foster grandparent and a loving mother to sons Michael and Matthew and daughter Susan.

She is survived by her son Michael and preceded in death by her son Matthew, daughter Susan, brother Richard Murphy, her loving husband Steve Kornish and sister-in-law Marylou Murray. Also is survived by daughters-in-law Gloria Kornish and Wendy Sutherland; grandchildren, Miranda Kornish, Joshua Kornish, Timothy Kornish, Gabrielle Kornish and Dave Walker.

She is also survived by many loving brothers and sisters-in-law as well as dozens of nieces and nephews.

Hobbies she loved were her garden, home and her dog Spike.

A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Missoula followed by a funeral Friday morning at 11 a.m. at the church. A luncheon will follow.
