Sharon Lee Hendrickson, 66, passed away on Sept. 3, 2014, after a long battle with health complications.
Sharon moved to Montana at the age of 9, attending school at Hellgate Elementary and then Hellgate High School. She enjoyed visiting or talking on the phone with friends or family, buying gifts for others, going to concerts and traveling. Sharon was well known for her heart, generosity and compassion, and was always there to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on without passing judgment. She always put her family and friends first. When her mother retired, Sharon was there to lend a hand, as she had never forgotten the love and support her mother had given her over the years. Sharon took great pride in her work as a personal care assistant at Hunters Glen and Edgewood Vista. Her care and compassion for others was one of her greatest qualities.
Sharon encountered many obstacles over the years, but always bounced back. This included a bout with cancer which she overcame. Even in her last days with us, she fought to stay with us until the very end.
Sharon is survived by her three sons, Dennis J. Hendrickson (Kim), Jimmy M. Hendrickson (Cindy), Joseph E. Howard (Lee Anne); brothers, Duane (Marilyn) and Mark (Ginny Sue) Anderson; sister Susan (Tim) Anderson; grandchildren Hallie and Kakela; and nieces and nephews, Sarah, Zach, Ruth Ann and Eric. She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth E. Anderson and father Albert L. Anderson.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Franklin Park, Saturday, Aug. 8, at 5:30 p.m. All family and friends are welcome.
