Sharlene "Texie" Westman

Sharlene "Texie" Westman, wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away peacefully in her home in Missoula on Tuesday, April 22, 2014.

She was born in Montana. After moving away several times and knowing her heart and home were in Montana, she moved back in 2006.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Shari and Gordon Cooper of Lolo; her son Jason Parker of Renton, Wash.; her mother Betty Beavers of Missoula; her sister Sharon McCawley of Auburn, Wash.; her brother and sister-in-law Randy and Debbie Beavers of Kalispell, and her brother-in-law Fred Mehlhoff of Maple Valley, Wash.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to have donations in her name made to the Cancer Center at St. Patrick Hospital or the YWCA Missoula Pathways program.
