Sandra Kay (McNabb) Karlin, 69, of Missoula, passed away at her home on Aug. 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Sandy was born on Sept. 9, 1945 at St. Patrick Hospital, in Missoula, to Lewis B. McNabb and Martha (Brester) McNabb. She met and married the love of her life Delbert Lee Karlin while working at Brownies Drive In, in 1967. In 1969, she gave birth to her daughter and best friend, Angela Lynn Karlin.
Sandy worked at the Western Montana Horse Racing Commission; on the C.S. Porter Lunch Staff, and at the Village Senior Residence. However, her most cherished job was caring for her family. Her greatest joys in life were family vacations, concerts, dancing, and spending time with her great-nephew David.
Survivors include; her husband of 48 years, Delbert Lee Karlin, daughter, Angela (Mark) Bennett, sister, Judy (Sam) Riggs, nephew, Trevor Riggs (Jaci Johnson) great-nephew David Riggs and niece Tracie Riggs, all of Missoula.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens followed by a reception.
