Sandra (Sandy) Beth Foust passed away peacefully at home on Sunday December 1, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was born September 25, 1942, to George Henry Nuse and Lula Lavon Hudson Nuse.
Sandy was blessed to have many adventures early in life as her father was stationed at several locations throughout the world during his military service. She spent part of her elementary schooling in Japan and graduated eighth grade in Munich Germany. George was eventually stationed at Fort Missoula where she graduated from Missoula County High School, Missoula Montana.
Sandy met her eternal companion, Terry Foust through their church activities in Missoula. After a short engagement, they were married on November 13, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and celebrated with friends and family at the Officers Club at Fort Missoula. They later settled and raised seven children in the Grant Creek area of Missoula. Sandy was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she taught all ages for many years. Sandy had a zest for life and enjoyed many hobbies such as bowling, camping, water skiing, crafting, and socializing with friends, but her greatest love in life was raising and loving her family.
Sandra is survived by her husband Terris Everitt Foust Sr., children Terry Jr. (Beth), Craig (Wanda), Sheri, Rose (Jeff), Mike, Stephanie (Todd), twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother Donald George Nuse, son Donald George Foust, grandson Craig Foust Jr., granddaughter Taylor Foust and grandson Braxton Bassett.
Sandy was a light, and was loved dearly by all those whom were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday December 7th at the Missoula Garden City Funeral Home. A viewing will be held for friends and family at 10:00 am. She will be interred at Missoula City Cemetery.
