Samuel Edwin "Sam" Johnson

Life-time Missoula resident, retired firefighter Samuel “Sam” Edwin Johnson, aged 71,
passed away October 9, 2020 from heart complications surrounded by loving family and
friends. He was preceded in death by Robert E Johnson (father) & Bernice Schwab
Johnson (mother). Survived by his family - wife Helen Cripe Johnson, sons Craig E
Johnson & Glen P Johnson, multiple grandchildren, brother Ernie W Johnson and sister
Beverly J Johnson and many extended family members. Sam was a passionate
Oldsmobile collector, and friends fondly remember his excellent story-telling abilities -
whether involving a love of the great outdoors in MT, family gatherings, or one of the
many local organizations he was involved in.
Memorial services are expected to take place in Missoula, MT in the spring-time.
