In Loving Memory of Sally Jo McCollum
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Sally Jo McCollum, a devoted wife, mother, grandma and friend, who peacefully left this world on February 3, 2025, at the age of 82. She was surrounded by love, just as she had surrounded others with her love and kindness throughout her life.
Born to parents Harold and Helen (Martin) Nichols on February 21, 1943, in Chehalis, Washington. Sally Jo was a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She dedicated her life to nurturing those she loved, always offering a warm embrace, wise counsel, and a heart full of compassion. Whether through the meals she lovingly prepared, her hard work on the family farm, the stories she shared, or the quiet moments spent together, she left a lasting impact on everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
She was the beloved wife of Ernest McCollum and a cherished mother to Brad, Stacy, Todd, Doug, and their spouses. She was a proud grandmother to Tori, Austin, Cassidy, Carina, Amaya, Reasa, Adilyn, Maisie Jo and her 3 great grandchildren. Her love extended beyond her family, touching the lives of many with her generosity, humor, and spirit.
Sally Jo leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and faith. Though her journey was not easy, her strength and determination inspired all who knew her. While we grieve her passing, we find solace knowing she is at peace, and free from pain. She is now in the arms of her Savior and reunited with the loved ones who were called home before her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday February 8, 2025, at 12pm at the Frenchtown Community Church, 16250 Mullan Rd, Frenchtown MT. Lunch will be served following the service.
