Roger Henry Verworn

Roger Verworn passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at St. Patrick's hospital after a short battle with cancer.
He was born on September 28, 1946 in Garrison, Montana to Henry and Clara Verworn.
He proudly served in the US Army where he earned many awards and Purple Hearts.
He married his wife Gail on September 25, 1987. Roger was a heavy equipment operator and could drive just about anything with tires.
When he wasn't working he could be found by a creek or river fishing, hunting, camping or driving thru the mountains teaching his sons to enjoy the outdoors as much as he did.
Roger is preceded in death by his father Henry, his mother Clara, sister June, brothers Ralph, Gordon and Duane.
He is survived by his wife Gail, two sons Brock(Caroline), Michael Koerting, his sister Judy Pyette(Donald), brothers Terry(Gayle), Mark(Jamie), his grandkids, Victoria, Taylor and Owen, and numerous neices and nephews.
A short service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 2 pm at the VA Cemetary on 1911 Tower Street, Missoula, Montana.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked a donation be made to Wounded Warriors Project or the American Cancer.
