Obituary for Robin Wekkin Gray

Robin Wekkin Gray passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Albuquerque NM. She was born in Missoula July 17, 1964 to Stan and Lauralee Wells Wekkin. She graduated from Sentinel High School. Much of her youth was spent riding horses and she won many medals on her little white horse, Lightning. She loved all animals and often brought orphans home to love. Her first job at the Tastee Freeze gave away lots of free ice cream cones to pets. She worked in banking in Missoula and California. Robin loved to hike and rollerblade.
Robin is survived by her husband, Duane in Albuquerque, her father Stan (Carol) Wekkin and brother Tracy (Christina)(nieces Laurissa and Maddy) Wekkin in Missoula, brother Shane Wekkin in Atlanta GA, daughter Chanel Basolo(Mike Wallace) in Boise and daughter Rilee Lake and son Collan Lake in Omaha NE. She is also survived by stepdaughters Laura & Shannon Gray as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family, and her puppies, Baylee, Lexie and Pippa.
Robin was preceded in death by her mother Lauralee (Les) Rutledge.
A memorial service and celebration of Robin's life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, Sept 5 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Memorial donations can be made in Robin's name to the Missoula Humane Society.
