Robin Amos

August 6, 1958 — April 13, 2025

Robin Amos, 66, of Monroe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 13, surrounded by her loving family, in Frenchtown, Montana, after a months-long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Robin Diane Parker Amos was born on August 6, 1958, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Floreace and Jimmie Bruce Parker. She was their only child and was raised in Crowville, Louisiana.

Robin led a life filled with love, faith, and devotion. She was a caring wife and proud mother, whose deep faith defined her life and inspired those around her. Her love of education was evident throughout her life, from her bachelor’s in science education, to homeschooling her children, to later teaching Third Grade at Geneva Academy. She radiated light, genuine interest, and pure-heartedness, embodying generosity and grace in all she did. Robin loved to travel with family, especially to the beach, Walt Disney World, and Glacier National Park. She shared a special bond with close friends and family members, above all loving on her seven children and eighteen grandchildren and delighting to shower them with gifts. Her love for God and family were paramount, and her warmth and kindness created a welcoming environment for all.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 47 years, Billy Amos; daughter, Jordan Myers (Joel); sons, Jon (Hollie), Parker, Christian (Liza), Hampton (Loui), Langston (Victoria), Taylor (fiancée Tori); and grandchildren, Ethan, Levi, Finn, Ellie, Marley, Sully, and Zenobia Amos; Evelyn, Owen, Meredith, Maggie, Thatcher, Janey, Jack, Georgia, and Winnie Myers; Lucy Amos; and Elias Amos.

A family graveside service for Robin will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Missoula, MT, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Robin's six sons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Tony Amos, Tyler Amos, Bob Groves, Ethan Amos, Joel Myers, and Owen Myers.
