Robert A. Schatz

MISSOULA – Robert A. "Bob" Schatz, 77, of Missoula, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at St. Patrick Hospital of natural causes. He was born Aug. 5, 1935, to August and Margaret (Bauer) Schatz. Bob graduated from Missoula County High School in 1953. He married Patsy L. McGee on June 18, 1955. They had three sons. Bob and Patsy lived in Livingston for a few years where he served a machinist apprenticeship with the railroad. They moved back to Missoula in 1960. A few years after moving back he worked as a machinist for White Pine & Sash until his retirement in 1995.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Stephen and grandson Charlie.

Survivors include his wife Patsy; son Brian; son Jeff (Cheryl); grandsons, Patrick and Nicholas, and granddaughter Jourdan.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Missoula Cemetery. Garden City Funeral Home is helping with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camp Mak-A-Dream.
