Robert Munson

Robert Munson, 75, of Lolo, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at St. Patrick Hospital, of natural causes. Bob was a longtime real estate broker, land developer and active timber consultant. He was a proud native Montanan and loved hunting, fishing and especially gardening.

He was born on Sept. 3, 1938, in Conrad, to Archie and Anne Munson. Bob attended high school in Stanford, Montana and attended college at the College of Great Falls, Montana State University and The University of Montana. From 1959-1962 he served in the U.S. Army Intelligence Service in the European Theatre.

On August 9, 1971 Bob married Dianna Senn (deceased Dec. 30, 1997). Both lived in Lolo, MT until their deaths. Bob came from a large family that included 5 sisters (Kathy, Grace, Betty Ann, Sandra and Paulette) and 2 brothers (Lewis and Steve). He is survived by his only son, Chris Munson, his daughter-in-law, Paula Munson and his grandson Blake all of Castle Rock, Colorado.

A celebration potluck for Bob's life will occur at Roper's (in Lolo, MT-formerly Piney Woods Café) on Friday, December 6, at 3:00PM.
