Robert “Bob” Lukasik, a beloved Husband, Father, Son, Uncle and friend passed away on July 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by family in Missoula, Montana. He was born on February 24, 1933, in Zap, North Dakota, to his loving parents Sam and Theresa.
Bob attended Grant School and Sacred Heart before graduating from Butte High School in 1951. During his high school years, Bob owned Park Street Billiards. He was an excellent pool player. After serving in the Navy and being stationed in Guam, Bob transitioned into working in the Butte mines and later went to work as a Meat Cutter.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with his family and dogs. He was also an avid fan of the 49ers. It was his favorite team.
Bob was a genuinely good man whose honor and kindness touched many lives. His deep love for dogs was evident to all; they were not just pets to him, but part of his family. Wherever he went, dogs seemed to gravitate towards him, sensing the genuine affection he had for them.
Bob made friends wherever he went. He will be dearly missed.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife Elaine, his sister Darlene Milasevich, his daughters Ginnysue, Gina, and Gaylene, his sons-in-law Mark and Gary, five grandchildren, as well as seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one grandchild, Joey, one son-in-law, Jim, as well as his many furry friends.
