Robert Lee Crouch, 75, of Lolo, died at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018.
He was born in Longview, Washington, to Edward and Viola Crouch, while his father worked for the war effort. They then returned to Milltown, where Bob grew up.
Bob graduated from Missoula County High School in 1960. He was a proud enrolled member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the State of Montana. He joined and served honorably in the United States Army Reserves. He found his home with the United States Forest Service, where he worked for 31 years until retirement.
Bob was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting in western Montana. He was a passionate Montana Grizzlies fan, and longtime season ticket holder. He enjoyed working with his hands, doing everything from rebuilding engines to restoring classic wooden boats. Bob married Sharon Walsh White in 1991 and they spent their retirement between their homes in Lolo and Flathead Lake. They enjoyed traveling, fishing, boating and many, many good times with friends and family. He lived a very active and full life.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, and his mother and father. He is survived by his siblings Barbara King, Candice Fleischhauer, and Tom Crouch; his children Clint Crouch, Wesley White, Christine Brasmer, Sandra Potter, Rusty Crouch, and Brad Crouch; and his grandchildren Ashley Brasmer, Jonathan Potter, Bohdi Crouch and Ethan Crouch.
At his request, no service will be held. Please raise a toast in memory of a good man, a good friend, a good brother, a good father and a good husband.
