Robert Lavern "BC" Christensen

– Robert "B.C." Christensen, 73, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at home of natural causes.

Bob was born May 17, 1942, to Carl Christensen and Iva Sias. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, until he was honorably discharged in 1970.

He married Lorie Daniels on April 23, 1999, and they made their home in Missoula. Bob was an over-the-road trucker for many years and worked for SK Construction until he retired in 2008. Bob was known for his sense of humor and enjoying his evening cocktail.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Lorie; daughter Brandy Christensen of Alaska and her two sons; brothers Larry Christensen (Kim) and Gordon Christensen (Bev); sisters Marlene Melton and Suzy Krantz (Keith); stepchildren Monty Moore (Karla), Kyle Bailey (Jim) and Colleen Leister (Todd); 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob's life will be announced at a later date.

Cremation was under the care of Garden City Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences and memories may be left for the family at missoulafuneralhomes.com.
