Robert C. Bartel, 64, passed away gently into the arms of angels on Friday morning, Dec. 30, 2016.

A gifted carpenter and craftsman, Bob spent many years as a construction manager for Habitat for Humanity, building homes in Colorado and North Carolina. Always a seeker, Bob was an adept mediator and worked here for the Ewam Buddha Garden.

Pre-deceased by his father Heinz; he is survived by his mother, Edna; wife, Morgen; son, Terren; and his sister, Cheryl. He will be profoundly missed by them, as well by his generous community of loving friends here and everywhere he’s lived.

Arrangements have been under the care of Garden City Funeral Home.
