He was born May 26,1969 in Missoula to Richard H. “Dick” Schipporeit and Alice Fay Schipporeit.
While growing up, Shane attended Missoula County Public Schools. He played football for the Sentinel Spartans, graduated in 1987 and went on to the University of Montana. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Systems in 1992. While attending UM, he worked for Best Products and also opened his own computer system and repair business. He began his career with Costco in 1991 where he worked and supervised in many different departments. Over the past 30 years he made many lasting connections with fellow employees and members.
He met his wife Jackie while working with her at Costco. They were married in 2003 and Shane welcomed her two boys as his own. Shane and Jackie did everything together, even work.
Shane enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends. You could always find him camping, fishing or exploring in his side by side. He loved going to breweries and brewfests. He also enjoyed finding new music, making playlists and going to concerts. Shane loved all sports, especially football and going to Griz games.
He enjoyed spending time with his 5 grandkids and would do anything they asked. He attended all of their sports and events, even ballet.
The family will cherish forever the love and happiness Shane brought to their lives and to the lives of so many others he touched along the way.
