Richard William Klein

MISSOULA – Richard William Klein was born in Hamilton on July 13, 1966, to Douglas and Caryl Klein. He passed away at Community Hospital, Missoula, on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.

Richard attended school in Hamilton until the family moved to Missoula in 1982. He graduated from Loyola Sacred Heart High School in 1984. Shortly after he moved to Wichita, Kan., and attended Wichita State University, studying film and television. He returned to Missoula in 2000.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews who loved him for his wit and sense of humor. His friends appreciated his compassion and personality.

Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents as well as an aunt and uncle. He is survived by his parents; brother Steve (Laurie) Klein; sister Laura (Gregg) Duffin; nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Marina, Mikayla and Monique Klein, Alysse and Kyle Duffin. Others are his aunt, Cathy Blackwell; uncle Ron Dohr; cousins, Ryan and Carise Blenkhorn.

Family service will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, Missoula and burial at Sunset Memorial Garden. Arrangements are under the care of Garden City Funeral Home.
