Richard E. "Dick" Bartow passed away on July 12, 2015. He was born on June 3, 1937 in Sunburst Montana to Edward and Stella Bartow. He was one of four brothers and spent his childhood hunting and fishing. He graduated from Cutbank High School and went on to Missoula to graduate from the University of Montana with a degree in Physical Therapy.
Richard was the Director of Physical Therapy at the Deaconess Hospital in Great Falls Montana for 22 years. He married Patricia Miller and the couple had four children. He was an amazing father and had endless energy for his kids. He taught them to love the outdoors, to work hard and believe in themselves.
Richard kept busy with many passions. He enjoyed: skiing, painting, tooling leather, hunting, fishing, and golf.
All who knew him will miss his colorful stories, endless jokes and contagious laughter.
He is proceeded in death by his parents and his three brothers. Survivors include: His best friend and mother to his children, Patricia Bartow. Also his two sons: Mike Bartow (wife Colet) of Helena Montana and Craig Bartow (wife Irene) of Missoula. His two daughters: Dani Hubbard (husband Andy) of Missoula and Susan Colyer (husband Mike) of Missoula. He left behind five grandchildren: Spencer and Jacob Bartow, Ella Hubbard, Jack and Kathleen Colyer, and Mara Bartow and many nieces and nephews.
