Reuben John Diller, 41, of Missoula passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, 2015 at St. Patrick Hospital of natural causes.
He was born on July 24, 1973, in Missoula to John and Vicki Diller.
He had a wonderful childhood growing up with a loving family and a love for the outdoors, including countless hours spent on the Northside basketball court with family and friends. Reuben graduated from Hellgate High School in 1991 and soon after married his childhood sweetheart, Mandie, in March of 1993.
After settling in the Frenchtown valley, Reuben and Mandie had four wonderful children while he was working for Les Schwab Tires and then for the U.S. Forest Service.
Reuben was loved as a husband, father, son, brother and friend. His family was the most important thing in his life. He was a kind, loving, caring person with a gentle heart that could always be counted on.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Diller of 23 years; daughter, Jazmine (Kyle) Buswell; son, Dakota; daughter, Libby; son, Devin; parents, John and Vicki Diller; brother, Neil (Sarah); sister, Danielle (Mat); and many extended family members and friends.
Preceded in death by Neil and Doris Beavers; Edgar and Geneva Diller; Chandra Beavers and Dan Diller.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at Frenchtown Pond State Park, Frenchtown. This will be an outside and potluck event.
