Reba Rae Case passed away Monday February 17, 2014 in the comfort of her home under the care of her loving husband. She was born Reba Rae Farmer the only daughter of Woodrow Farmer and Stella May Rash on November 9, 1947, in Riverside, California. She grew up in Kellogg and Pinehurst Idaho where she met her husband, Terry Case. After graduating from Kellogg High School in 1968 the two were married and spent the next twenty-three years traveling across the US and Europe.
Reba's joy of adventure and love of people precluded her involvement in community service and facilitated her dream of business ownership. She was active in the Girl and Boy Scout programs, Enlisted Wives organization and her church's youth and young women's groups. She loved singing, sewing, needle work, reading and various other art crafts. Her true passion, however, was her family. She had three daughters and a son and the depth of her love for her children knew no bounds. She was blessed with the love of her children, eight small grandchildren, her husband and soul mate of forty-six years, and many family members and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her father Woodrow, her mother Stella, sister Lendera, and daughter Shawna Cauline. Survivors include: her husband, Terry, Huson; her daughter Katjalee Case and her daughter Zoey, Mason City; her son and daughter-in-law Kyle and Sara Case and their children Maxson, Olivia, and Liam, Mason City; her daughter and son-in-law Holly and Mathew Seidel and their children Kayla, Hailey, Aurora, and Michael, Huson; her siblings Troy, Pattie, Gloria, and Andrea; and many aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A viewing was held for the family at Sunset Memorial Gardens and memorial service was performed at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Frenchtown, Montana. The family will have a celebration of life gathering later this summer for family and friends to attend. Donations to the Montana Cancer Center at Saint Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, Montana or to the American Cancer Society have been requested by the family in lieu of flowers.
