Reata Lorraine Lucus

We have lost our Matriarch, our rose, Reata L. (Gill/ Stuck) Lucus on March 21, 2024. She was a beautiful person inside and out, our rose. Once you got past the thorns, she had the biggest heart that touched not only her family but those she called family and friends. She lived a long (not long enough for us) happy life.

She was preceded in death by her brother Francis Gill; her parents William and Lola Gill; and her son, Jess Stuck. She was survived by her husband of 31 years, Ken Lucus, 4 out of 5 of her children and their respective spouses: Bill Stuck, Pat and Cindy Stuck, Velva Stuck, and Janet and Marilyn Stuck; her step-children: Teresa Lucus, Tina and Tom Springer, Karen Lucus, Ricky Lucus; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. One brother and sister-in-law Richard and Barbara Gill and one sister Jean Wheeler. Way too many nieces and nephews to count.

Her loss will be felt forever by many. May she rest in peace knowing that she will forever hold a place in our hearts and hope to see her again someday. Love you mom with all our hearts.

Reata will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens where private graveside services will be held.
