Early Thursday morning July 10, 2014 at 4:52 Ray Alexander fell asleep in death, He was surrounded by the love of everyone especially his wife.
He was born to Archie and Doris Alexander in Jackson Hole .Wyoming. At the age of six his family moved to Superior, Montana, where he grew up, went to school and into the Air Force. He was babtized as one of Jehovah's Witness's in 1973.
In 1964 He married Sharon Lagerquist in Wallace, Idaho. From that day forward they were inseperable, loved one another unconditionally and together loved their children beyond words. His 11 grandchildren were his pride and joy and always near to his heart.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, His son Milo Raymond Jr, and his beloved grand daughter Rebekah Bryant. His sister Vonnie Hobert.
Survivors include his wife Sharon, son Jim Lagerquist, daughters Bobie Olson, TinaRae Alexander, Muriah Alexander, and Jackie Smith.His Aunt Pouline Baker. His grand children Shannon Lagerquist, Allison Bryant, Alex Auer, Nate Auer, Tiphanie Rae Erickson, Trevor Blake Erickson, Mary Buck, Stephanie Sanders, Megan Smith, Noah Smith. Great Grand children: Madison Dhooghe, Boady Dhooghe, Scarlett Turpin, and Wyatt Turpin.
Ray was a journeyman welder and fabucator by trade and a master carpentor, Superiors handyman for many years, .He was a man that once you met him you never forgot him, Ray was a wealth of knowledge, and loved to share it with everyone, Before 1964 he had read the volumes of the encyclopidia Brittanica from AtoZ."A self tought genious" his wife called him. He felt the most important knowledge to be gained by anyone was God's, written word the Bible He read it many times over and each time he felt there was something he missed before, He loved sharing the Bible truths with anyone who would listen, and through out the years studied the Bible with many people in the county. His hobbies were just about everything new he would read about, from raising bee's breeding and raising tropical fish, making wonderful gifts for people, He loved Geology, archelogy, palentology,.He loved to garden and had the biggest vegtable garden he could plant, he shared this with many people, He was always the one who kept the yard up, planting flowers , trees and making it a mini paradise.loving to work with plants he studied up on Bonzai;s and did that, cross pollinating to get different colors of Irises, he was always busy with something.He built and Flew model airplane and tought himself how to facit gem stones. He loved and lived life right to the end. There were things he loved the most, mining for gold, fishing, and hunting, and camping, and teaching his children to do it all.
Loving life and his positive attitude kept him going throughout his illness. Please join us in remembering his life on Saterday July19, 2014 1 oclock in the Superior, Montana high school multi purpose room.
