Prosper Frederick Paul, 92, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on August 9, 2024. He was born on July 31, 1932 in Mansfield, Massachusetts to the late Alexander Paul and Blanche Dion. Prosper was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, David.
Prosper was a member of Rotary International and had a career in the hospitality industry. He graduated from Missoula County High School on Higgins Avenue, Class of 1950 and the University of Montana, Class of 1954. He was commissioned into the United States Army Reserve and served overseas in Korea. He started his hospitality career as a bellman at the Florence Hotel in Missoula, Montana and left the Florence Hotel in 1963 as General Manager. He then became General Manager of the Abbey Resort in Fontana, Wisconsin. In 1964, he became General Manager of the Holiday Inn in Jackson, Michigan. In 1985, he took a variety of positions in hotel management, settling in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Prosper is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; sons, Kevin and Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Kevin, Trinity and Daniel; his great-grandson, Adam; his sister, Lillian (Bryan) of Hamilton, Montana; his nephews, James, David and Jay and his nieces, Virginia, Jenette, Karen and Barbara
A viewing will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church on Friday, August 16th at 10:00 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M., Fr. Emmanuel Torres as Celebrant. Burial will follow at a later date, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Missoula, Montana.
